Out with X in with Y

Let's refer to ancient times, where religion was the way to live. As in people breathe and lived by the rules of thier religion.
However our modern day generation, to be recognized as religious person is by getting a tattoo of a Cross or any religious symbol on thier right arm.
Religion might be fading, since technology provide more answer to the way how our nature operates. People might have more faith in technology because it provides results, clarifies the questions society seeks to find.

Szerszynski's article refers religion as social phenomena which can high be developed or disappear. It is considered as one of things created from society such as sports, marriage, and etc. I don't agree or disagree with the statement from the article, however like I have mentioned above religion became less serious than what it was in the past, our modern days considers religion as more of a cultural resource.

My personal opinion is religious people after long years of practising faith have lost their faith and started to depend on technology because it provide the answers. If religion is indeed one of 'cultural resource' those who prayed in belief of finding eternal answers weren't rewarded with an answer, which lead many people society to become faithless. Then this led for those to rely on something else in 'cultural resource': fast rising technology.

P.S. Just to satisfy my curiousity I would love to see a scientist to prove, how did a toated bread had an image of Mother Terisa. I want the answer with scientifical proof, since WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY.
